Reading Response #5

Title: Twisted
Author: Sara Shepard

In life many kids or even adults may be threatened. They would be threatened for no reasons. The people try to find out who the culprit is. Sometimes it is a mystery that can’t be solved without the right clues. In the book Twisted by Sara Shepard the main characters: Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hanna have to still deal with “A.” The girls have gone through to “A’s” who were close friends once. Now the 4 girls cannot stand that there is a new “A.” One character that I want to focus on most in the book is Spencer Hastings. Spencer is a character who has gone through many problems dealing with boys and “A.”
In the beginning of the book all 4 girls are in there “own world.” The 4 girls have not talked to each other. Not until they have started to get the texts from “A” again. The girls think since the last “A” was Alison. They think that Alison may have survived the fire at the Poconos and has become “A” again.  Spencer is the only girl of the group who thinks that someone is just tricking them. She thinks that this may be fake and it is a way to mock there “pretty little liars” situation.
At the end of the book spencer has changed. Her thoughts had changed on “A.” Spencer thinks that with her friends she can finally end this threatening situation. All 4 girls get together and discuss about the texts. Spencer has changed her mind and is now agreeing that the “A” situation has begun again.
Over all reading this book I can tell that the author is trying to tell us a message. The author is saying working together as friends can bring you success. Even if the situation is very tragic working together can help. Finishing up the case can get you to the end and you can see a change in your feeling and life. Over all this book can really connect to your inner thought and to the situations of our world.
