Non fiction reading response #2 (3rd Quater)

Jobs are an important factor for many adults. Jobs are needed to provide support for family; to earn some cash and it pays off after many years of education. But, a job isn’t an easy thing to get. Days, and months pass by but that’s how long it takes to have your interview approved. According to the article, “Jobs to Fill, Employers Wait for Perfection,” by Catherine Rampell (from NY Times); many things are based on the economy.
In the article I can feel that all of the people that want jobs just wait too long. I mean 1-2 months may seem okay if there are many applicants. But after 4 months it may seem as if it’s hopeless. It seems as if there is no way to get that job. If it were me in that case I would be much stressed it’s a career I want to fulfill that may never come true.
In the article the author also explains that economy is a big impact in jobs. If economy is very down, hiring isn’t done much. The economy doesn’t always stay high. With financial crisis the economy goes down. With the current debt it’s hard to earn a decent job.
Overall this article, explained the need of jobs. But our employees must wait.  A job doesn’t come from mid-air. It takes lots of work. But if our economy is down or the nation is in mid-way crisis, its not likely to earn a job.
